A couple of short video clips from yesterday, not close to the action as I was just testing my new DJI Action Cam, which of course is not for taking videos at a distance.  https://photos.app.goo.gl/1ggvUs4RH8Z9zrWm9

Is there any update on Callum and Jackson? We have decent strength in depth, but they are important players.

Done. They have shown over a period of time that they deserve a crack at the big boys.

Family commitments will mean we can't be there tomorrow, for what I hope will be retribution on arguably the nicest day of the year so far. As Bristol are playing in the Prem Rugby cup, they will probably be playing their own players, and not 'ringers'.

Hmmmmm.....so we could end up like they often do in the EFL, where a team has to play off against a team that finished a long way adrift of them. I'm happy that there is a play-off against the Championship team, but not so sure about the 2nd v 3rd. Unless of course we end up 3rd  ;D

This Bonus Point Win put us back at the Top of the Table,  but just as important was the number of points Scored.

Before today's game Plymouths points difference was +80 better than ours,  now its down to +26.   Seeing how close it is at the Top of the Table,  points difference " could " be the deciding factor at the end of the season.

We could certainly do with another 5 pointer and a Bag full points against Dings next Saturday.
It's going to be a very close Finish to the season so a WIN against Plymouth at the Lane on 21st March could well be the deciding factor.

21st Feb v Tonbridge (A)  and  14th Mar v Blackheath (A)  will be difficult games, but the way we are playing I'm confident that we can be successful in both of them.

Callum today was Man of the Match for me,  he puts in so much hard Graft,  let's hope that he remains Fit for the rest of the season.

I believe it's the Prem Cup next week with Bristol playing, so we shouldn't suffer the same issue as down there.

If Ellis and John were in, can you imagine the size of the back 5 in the scrum!

Did someone mention that we needed to improve our points difference  ;D

T'was me  ;D

It was very much needed when you look at the points differences per game over the season so far.

What might the reasons be?

Have we tired?
Have teams worked us out?
Have other teams strengthened?
A mix of everything?

We haven't really been hit by injuries so have been able to put out a relatively stable squad every week, so can't blame it on injuries.

Whatever it might be, I hope the lads keep battling for the rest of the season, they are clearly good enough to push for promotion.

After checking for an update around mid-day, when we were leaving home (had somewhere else to go on route), I must admit I was a tad hacked off when we arrived and saw no coach outside the ground, and then checked and found out that the game was off. Thankfully for us, we only had a 20-minute drive back home; I would have been seething if I had travelled some distance.

Happy New Year, all. Does anyone know if there is a risk to tomorrow's game, based on pitch condition/forecast?

Does anyone know if Callum Bustin is jsut being rested or is he injured? He really trucked through against Bishop Storts. Hope he is ok.

When we saw Callum at one of the recent home games, he was wearing a 'Beckham Boot', and mentioned a small injury.
