Incredible game. I was on edge the entire time. We were chasing the game for so long and to pull it back and get the win in the last play was unbelievable! I can’t quite believe what we just witnessed! What resilience from the lads. When they broke through into a 2 on 1 at the end I thought it was all over, I’m not sure what happened but the last ditch tackle essentially won us that game then Jackson pouncing on a spilt pass to send Isaac flying up the wing to get us into a position to work for the drop goal! Wow.

Well done to this incredible team, coaches, club and fans! Clifton Lane was packed! The noise was brilliant! Awesome, enjoy the rest of your weekends everyone.

I’m over the moon!

I’d say it is more of a question of familiarity in such a crucial, high pressure game. When Lloyd first came back to us he had some stints at fly half and is always very strong in that position.

With Harris being so new to the squad it might have been looked at as a bit too much too quickly with such high stakes. Harris looked very promising in his one game at 10, I think he would be great tomorrow but I’d say Lloyd is the safer bet.

Really solid looking squad. Can’t wait for the game tomorrow although the nerves are high!

Try scoring threats across the park there with a very strong bench.

Come on Roth!

There are a couple of injuries but we have the squad to overcome that challenge. We were caught short a bit against Blackheath as we lost JB before the game and Rob Povey during the game but this is a resilient squad and we did well to get the bonus. Harry Newborn mentioned we could have scored just before half time which didn't come off but had it gone our way then Saturday could have been different for us.

We have Harris Rutherford who looked sharp in his game a few weeks ago and Lloyd who is a great 10. We also have Will Metcalfe who is looking better and better with game time and also Sinjin who is a sharp 9 both just need a bit more exposure to the first team. JB might well be back this week also who is a rock for us at 9 and scores tries. If Lloyd does step in at 10 we have Mitchell who's can slot in at 13 and James Norman who can move to the wing who has scored a lot of tries in his appearances for us.

It would be nice to see Callum and Morgan back in the starting line up if fit as they are two prolific try scorers for us. Callum really gets us on the front foot in the ball carrying area and has a very handy Rugby League style offload but we have the depth also, Jack Baldry has stepped up phenomenally well and has shown he is first team quality. He puts in some serious work out there and can also score.

All in all I believe this year we have that strength in depth to see us over the line and I have every confidence in the lads this weekend, they always bounce back strong from a loss. Whatever the combinations are out there they will be well thought through and the lads will have done the work in training to prepare for probably the most important game of our season.

Come on Roth, send em home wi nowt!

Shame to hear about Rob, what an outstanding 10 he is for us who plays at the international level. Hopefully it isn't too bad.  Rutherford looked dangerous in the game he played for us and will be a good option, certainly a physical and attacking 10. Lloyd always does a great job at 10 also and Mitchell is arguably stronger in the centres than on the wing. We have James Norman to slot in on the wing too who has been prolific when he has played.

I'm sure what ever the combination we opt for the lads will put in a massive effort and get back to winning ways on Saturday. I fancy us against anyone at home!

Hard lines. It was always going to be a tough game and we knew March was going to be a hard month.

Let’s bounce back with a big win next week.

Great 5 points in tough conditions. I do think we could have scored more in the second half but the mud and rain made handling very difficult. The main thing is the win and the bonus point putting us in a good position going into March which will be a massive test. I think we can come away with wins in both games as our lads seem to be hitting really good form just recently.

Blackheath did us a big favour but they are playing very well at the moment and that away game will be such a huge test and a place we have struggled at in recent years however I think the lads are coming together so well at the moment. Hopefully the injuries to Callum and Jackson are all healed up and we have our best possible side out there. A bit of a rest in this next two weeks will do the lads the world of good.

March is a massive month but I think only having 2 games is a huge plus.

Well done and COME ON ROTH!

Real well done to the lads for yesterday, it sounded like they had to overcome some adversity to get the 5 against a side that pushed Plymouth hard at their place.

Big 5 against Birmingham Moseley next week to set up the most important 2 weeks of the season. I do feel a lot more confident after yesterday for the Away game at  Blackheath.

Rest up lads and lets go for it.

Amazing result particularly considering how close they pushed Plymouth last week!

Great 5 points

We have been quite ruthless recently. It is going to be very tight at the top at the end of this season and points difference could well be a deciding factor. Credit to the team.

Game of 2 halves. First half was brilliant free flowing rugby with some of the best handling I’ve seen from us all season then the second half just ground to a halt. Full of errors, scrum after scrum. Dropped balls, knock one etc.

We probably missed out on a few tries extra due to handling in the second half but the main thing is the win and the try bonus.

The new 10 looked quite dangerous, creative attacking fly half. He was unlucky to get the yellow card in my opinion, he went for an interception but knocked the ball on which was ruled as a deliberate knock on in a try scoring position so he got the card. I think a penalty should have been enough but it is what it is.

Good all round performance despite the scrappy 2nd half. The pack were phenomenal in the scrum today, they had Dings well on the back foot.

Some great moves from the backs today, you can see the hard work they have put in as it is paying off on the field with tries.

We did miss touch again from a penalty. We really need to tidy that up as it cost us against Leeds. We don’t need hero’s just make touch and we can attack from there!

Well done to all for another great win. Rest up for some tough games coming our way over this next few weeks!

The squad look good with a nice bit of rotation whilst maintaining our strong core. It will be interesting to see the new 10 get a start. Great to see Curran back in the second row although he did a great job in the back row last week.

I wouldn't have thought Dings will have a massive influx of Bristol players with the 6 Nations and Prem Cup but we need to be prepared for anything. The DR situation will keep happening with the current rule set and we need to be able to overcome these challenges which I believe we can.

I feel another 5 coming our way, the lads are in good form and will want to right the wrongs on the away game. We have some try machines in this team.

Awesome today from the whole squad. Completely dominant performance.

Great to see Callum back and back at his best. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, he is for me the best 8 outside of the prem. A modern 8 with the skills and pace of an inside centre with the League offload tendencies makes him a cut above. His try scoring record speaks for itself.

James Norman again was fantastic, could easily have got the hat trick.

I thought Will Metcalfe looked very promising. There were some kicking errors which is to be expected with his lack of game time but you can see a very sharp, aggressive and pacey 9 in the making there. The kicking will improve with more game time and some coaching.

The front row were phenomenal today, Zack Torien is really shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with, he has improved immensely this season.

Jack B did great again and Curran is finding his best form again after injury. I liked him at 6.

I can’t remember the last time we had this many prolific try scoring threats across the whole squad.

Pretty scary thought to have Fozzy, Luke Cole, Donks, Big John and JB coming off the bench!

Well done all and onto next week!

The team looks great, good rotation and some interesting new combinations. Great to see Will Metcalfe get a game as he has looked very promising when he has featured. Nice to see Callum back and James Norman and Jack Baldry getting more game time after some great performances. Great to see Curran on the sheet as well as he was phenomenal last season and needs more game time this year!

I feel the 5 coming our way! Come on Roth
