Wonder where the players that haven't featured so far are plying their trade? I have seen Harry Chubb mentioned for Rossendale and Lukas Sableman-Blue (who obviously has played for Titans) is at the same team.

Plymouth have the same starting 15 that put 60 on Rams. The only changes are to the bench. It is going to be a tough match but I think we can edge it.

This looks like the strongest side we could probably put out in any match (perhaps with Povey being the excpetion). We will need to be 100% on our game and ideally get off to a quick start. It will be a real nail biter and so much is at stake. Good luck to the lads!!

I live 260 miles away so it is good for me but the club should get some revenue from the sales as the viewers will be either Plymouth or Rotherham fans (possibly the odd Blackheath fan). Hope they reply positively for the club.

Not sure what the injury status is but it looked like it had some bearing on the outcome against Blackheath. I think we need to be at full strength to beat Plymouth, who dispatched Rams with a  60 point haul. They are very good with ball in hand and they were missing a few players. They have access to at least one premiership loan player (Wimbush) as well. The next game is absolutely pivotal for us if we want automatic promotion. I cannot see Blackheath or Plymouth losing any other games (as predicted above). Sale away for Plymouth might be a tough one but by then they will know whats needed. It has been a fantastic season for Roth and we just need to hang in for 4 more games but the pressure is relentless. Lets hope we can muster a strong team and do the job. We have control over our destiny, there are 20 points available and there are only 11 points separating top from 4th so it is tight. there are only 5 points separating 3rd from top. To guarantee a play off position we need at least 2 wins, which I am confident Rotherham will achieve. Losing to Plymouth is likely to  seriously take the wind out of our sails however so it is such an improtant match (for both teams). Can't wait.

Looks like a strong line-up and it will have to be. Hopefully we can sneak a win but we will have to watch the catch-drive and the Harding scoring machine. If not a win then the odd bonus point will come in handy.

We are moving through the week to the start of 2 massive fixtures. The first being, arguably, the toughest in the Nat 1 calendar, i.e. Club. Does anyone have any idea of injuries or training progress (with the pitch possibly being a factor)? It would be great if we can go to London with a team selected from a full squad (long term injuries aside). Plus with England playing the way they are, the rugby weekend may well need rescuing yet again.

Interesting. When we Played Plymouth away, they kicked most of their points and I think only managed the 1 try. If we win then it is quite likely that we will keep them belwo 4 tries in that respect. I think Club away is a massive match for us. We can beat them (as we did at home) and hopefully we can travel there with a full squad and Harvey's preferred picks. If we can squeak a 4 pointer there then we put ourselves in a strong position. Sale are also looking resurgent and so that will also be a tough match (well that said all the matches are tough). So, just the 4 wins from 5 then !!

Interesting Article. Always thought that to have a sustainable business model you need a suitably sized market place and a sutiably sized share of that market place. Rugby union is still a niche sport, that still favours the private school pathways (despite development leagues etc) and is probably run by people with more interest in commerce than in Rugby. To expand the market place rugby has to be accessible and the 6N is probably one of very few free to air windows for rugby fans and potential rugby fans. Where I live now the nearest N1 clubs are Plymouth, Clifton and Dings. The nearest Prem team is Exeter and closely followed by either Bath or Bristol. For a Prem match you are lookig at between £25-£80 for a normal ticket and much more for a corporate type ticket. Hospitatility at HQ is around £1200 per head and normal ticket £90-£130. Its a little excessive for the size of the sport (although Twickers usually sells out). I agree with  Harvey in that there has to be a meritocracy and a sense of earning a place and also risking a place to keep the sporting element intact. I suspect that TNT will end up with the 6N in 2 years and then it will be a closed shop. Perhaps grass roots clubs will attract a few more to their clubs as a result, in that respect but I sense it is a looming decline. I dont have much opportunity to watch Rotherham, especially at Clifton lane now, but I love following them and watching the highlights. Managed to get to Plymouth and despite the result it was good to watch them. However their future is now limited by this change but hopefully the Champ can give the players what they deserve if they finish the job this season.

The biggest obstacle to promotion could be the truly awful mud bath of a pitch, with another 3 games still to play on it. I watched a lot or rugby over the weekend, in our league and others, the pitch at Clifton Lane was by far the worst. It’s rained everywhere in the UK, not just here, you have to wonder why the pitch is as bad as it is.
It brings into focus the work that needs to be done at the Ground, if we get promoted to the Champ.
We’re in a great position now, I feel it’s ours to lose, despite a few difficult games still to play. But they need to sort that pitch out.

Its whats known in the trade as a "Leveller". We maanged 4 tries on it last week but that said, the second half was a draw, and the conditions got worse. Perhaps, its a leveller against us?

Club away, is one of the toughest fixtures in the league and when you look back to our home victory (24-19), it was a hard fought encounter and we lost the second half. I thin kwe did miss a few opportunities and hence didnt collect the bonus point, but that said we had it within ourselves to achieve that. We seem to have really bounced back after Christmas and have regained our mojo.

Blackheath seem to really punish the lower positioned teams but have recently been pushed close by Bish, leeds and of course they lost to Park. They did however thrash Birmingham at home. The key result was last weeks win over Plymouth. I guess some teams just have the perfect tools to allow the big wins against certain other teams. If we can squeak a 4 pointer over Club then that will put us in a great postion going forward. Plymouth at home will then be the focus. I would hope for a victory against Sedgely but they caused us problems at home and Sale are enjoying a resurgence. Its all to play for and its finger crossed that we are not down to the bone on injuries and we raise our game in London.

Our Season pretty mich hangs on the next 2 games Plymouth have (apartt from us) Rams, Sedge, Sale (A) and Leeds. Sale will be tough away for Plymouth and Leeds are resurgent (just put 45 points on Park). It is certainly going to be a nailbiter of a run-in.

I was sat behind a family group of 3 plymouth fans about 4 rows up and when Fozzy came on we absolutely monstored the Plymouth scrum, marching them 5 meters backwards. The ref blew and I thought woah what a scrum! but the penalty was awarded to Plymouth and one of the 3 members below me said, and I genuinely quote: "How the F@$k did we get that penalty", this happend 3 times in the match (not the swearing), albeit one of those was a free kick. I was bemused and I am technically a qualified ref (albeit last graded at level10 but with dodgy knees) as to what we were being pinged for. We did, however kind of play into Plymouths hands with our kicking game and they did take their try exceptionall well.
