Remember Corben Ollivent getting the drop goal against Blackheath last season in the last play although that was a bit closer in and in a howling gale if I recall.

Ryan Lamb made the following comments after the game “ Gutted for the guys after a huge effort, we could of controlled the game a bit better at certain times but we got pinged off the park and that put us under a lot of pressure, I thought the lads handled that fantastically.
Fair play to Rotherham they won a big moment at the end showed great composure to get the win.
We need to dust ourselves off as there's still a lot to play for, ready for the last 3 games”

I think the reason they got pinged off the park was because our forwards were well on top.
Bit disappointing their team & officials didn’t stay for the after match presentations. I know it’s a long way but a good number of their supporters stayed.

Titans Chat / Message for our Wonderful Titans

Today is one of those days that reminds us why this club means so much to so many. As the Titans prepare to take the field, everyone connected with Rotherham stands behind them with pride, belief, and a deep sense of togetherness.

This squad has shown remarkable character throughout the season. They have faced challenges, risen to big moments, and carried themselves with the honesty and work ethic that define this club. Every player who pulls on the shirt today does so knowing the effort, sacrifice, and commitment that have brought us to this point.

Clifton Lane has always been more than a ground. It is a place built on shared memories, hard battles, and the voices of supporters who care deeply about their team. When the players run out today, they carry that history with them and they carry the support of everyone who has stood by the club through every high and low.

Whatever the scoreboard says, what matters most is the spirit with which this team plays. The courage to compete for every inch. The trust in one another. The pride in representing Rotherham. Those qualities have been evident all season, and they will be evident again today.

To the players: know that the town is with you. Know that your effort inspires people. Know that you have already made this club proud. Give everything, stay connected, and play with the heart that has brought you to the top of this league.

To the supporters: your presence, your noise, and your belief make a difference. Today, more than ever, the team will feel it.

I understand the referee for this game will be Ben Simpson, who, I understand, has refereed two games for us this season, both at home, against Leeds Tykes and Blackheath respectively.

Similarly he has also refereed two home games for Plymouth Albion, against Rosslyn Park & Tonbridge Juddians respectively.

Mr. Simpson in addition to refereeing a good number of Nat.1 games this season, has also refereed a number of games in The Champ.

Yes I did hear about Rob from one of my Blackheath contacts so I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

All the best to all the lads and like you Winger I am confident we can overcome Plymouth, but most of our games with them are very close, home or away.

All I know is that he was in the original 15 but a late change was made and that Sinjin Broad came onto the bench.

I don’t know. Think they are a one trick pony to be fair. We just didn’t get the breaks today and hope Rob is ok
Still a point ahead of Plymouth who beat Rams 60-26 today.

I hear Metcalfe is in for JB Watto.
Do you know who the replacement is on the bench?
