I also heard from 5 people that the pitch is to be rotated in the close season.  A couple of them said that it would be changed if we were Promoted.
As usual we should wait until its officially confirmed by the Club.  If this work is carried out,  then I'm  sure that we will have a much larger playing area.

I've took my place in the Shed for many, many years, I never liked to watch a game from behind the Posts,  I'll just have to " Flit " and find a new spot.

The Club will have to built a New Stand ( Shed ) obviously on the opposite side of the Pitch  to the Clubhouse or behind the posts at the opposite end of the pich to the current Shed. One of the criteria in the Championship is to have a minimum of 500 seats, I don't know how many we have now, but it's no where near 500.

Whatever perspective the Plymouth reporter had on the game, was his biased  opinion,  the Match report on our Clubs site is much fairer to both sides.

          Rotherham     3 Try's

          Plymouth       1  Try

That says it all for me

This will certainly be a game that we will look back on, for a long time to come.  I posted on the Forum, and told plenty of people in the Clubhouse before the Game, that I was Confident that we would Win, even when we went 0 - 13 down I was still confident that we would Win.  I have to admit that when we went 12 - 19 down, and the way the game was going, my confidence started to waver ( shame on me ).  At 19 - 19 it was going to be a nerve shredding finish. I posted some time ago, after the losses at Plymouth and Leeds, both by 1pt that I couldn't understand why, with 5 mins to go, we didn't attempt a Drop Goal.  What a surprise when the Ball came back to Lloyd from a Breakdown and he kicked the Goal, what an unbelievable eruption of noise came from around the Ground.
With Blackheath winning, we really needed this Win that puts us 4pts clear of them and Plymouth.
It's going to be an exciting end to the season, but I'm STILL CONFIDENT that we will come out on Top at the end of the season.

Todays result will give us a great indication as to what lies ahead for our Club.  A good Win, hopefully 5 pts, will put us in the Driving Seat for the last 3 games of the season.
Plymouth will also be battling hard for the Win, so it's going to be Nervous, but exciting game to watch.  Along with us and Plymouth, Blackheath will also be battling hard for the  Win today as all 3 Clubs will be desperate to finish at the Top of the League to avoid the uncertainty of the Play-Off's.
Blackheath WILL WIN today,  putting extra pressure on the Loser of the game at the Lane, so it's definitely Game On.

I'm confident that we will get the Win today, then Win the remaining 3 games of the season.

Then What Lies Ahead, will it be the Promised Land or the Poisoned Challis, only time will tell.

    Povey -------- Bad Injury

    JB -------------- Calf Strain

Disappointing result, but the Bonus Point has kept us at the Top of the Table.  We really need to Beat Plymouth next Saturday and I'm confident that we  will.

We are now 5 pts ahead of Plymouth and 9 pts ahead of Blackheath in the League Table.

Our next two games,  14 March (A) Blackheath and  21 March (H) Plymouth are going to be Huge games.

We will obviously go out to WIN both games, but a Defeat at Blackheath won't be a Disaster as long as we Beat Plymouth.

Our last 3 games of the Season  Rams (H),  Sedgley (A), Sale (H)  will all be Nail-biting games to watch,  but at this time I'm quietly confident that at the end of the Season we'll be celebrating our Promotion.

If You think that I'm  being too confident, too early and things don't turn out as we hope, then we'll just wait until next September,  And Start All Over Again.

I thought that we would have Won by a larger margin but the main outcome is that we got the 5 pts,  putting us on  91.

If Blackheath can beat Plymouth then it will have been a Highly successful day for us.
